Still have to watch it. Heard Johnson won and is leading the points. That's all I know as of now....... At least now I can zip to the hi-lights, providing there were some........

If you have it recorded, check that last restart- did Jimmie cross the line before Brad?

Looked that way but I'm not sure.

If he did, he should have gotten a drive through penalty which would have put he way back in points and Bowyer would still have a chance.

Don't matter, just curious.

I'll look for it. I'm going to watch it tonite. I heard they had a green/white/checkers. The little I heard on the radio, it sounded like it was towards the end and the race was for 2nd. I was shocked(and ticked) when the news said Jimmie won.....

Re: Chase Race 8 - Texas

That 2nd to last restart was really good. Bumpin and bangin. Brad may have held off Johnson if it wasn't for the last restart. When Brad only took 2 tires during his last pit stop, he basically burnt them up and had nothing for Johnson on the green/white/checkers. Brad is -7 points with 2 to go. Well in the hunt. Hopefully he can take down Johnson.

No doubt Jimmie beat Brad to the line on the last restart. I was rewinding many times until I could stop the cars at the line. Then they showed a better angle at the end of the race which left no doubt. Maybe 6" difference. Like the announcers said, they're not going to penalize being that close. There could be an argument that Brad wiggled a little before the line. Good no call........

Phoenix then Homestead and that's it. Hopefully it comes down to the end........
