For those of you thinking of using Slab Foam for your floatation foam. I've found a great place to get some for a great deal. I don't think you could find a better deal than this. Plus you'll helping the environment by keeping this stuff out of the landfill!!! I've seen several Glass boats use this as well as Tinners in their rebuilds. I see nothing wrong with using slab foam and cutting it to fit between the stringers and fit snugly below the deck. The pour in foam is great, but it'll cost almost $400 to do a typical boat. There's enuf foam here to do 2 boats for that much. Being a C.O.B. I'm thinkin this is a good deal.
It may be more than you need but... Maybe several members could work out a deal. This is 100% Closed Cell Blue Slab Foam 3" thick and will never absorb water. I am NOT associated with these guys. I bought some Billboard Tarp from em to cover my Patio With. It's cheap and good too. Makes great boat cover material. Better than HF tarps and cheaper too!!!
