I have a 2000, 50 hp Evinrude, 4 stroke, fuel injected. with new impellor & water pressure valve, gaskets etc with less than 10hrs on them. Running in a tank, with water level 20" up shaft so all intake holes are covered and even though it spits water just fine, within a minute of starting it, the alarm starts sounding and the check engine light comes on, but oil pressure and water temp lights are not on. Any ideas?
