Just bought a 92 17'.5" dual console Sailfish Bay Skiff with an 1992 88 Johnson SPL(sweeeet)....has an underfloor tank but was running on portable 6 gallon tanks...owner said he had it the last 6 years and never used the underfloor tank....The tank sits midboat, about 10' of 1/2" fuel line to a fitting on the transom, which was blocked off ......want to put it back into service....do these plastic tanks go bad underfloor?.....fuel fill and vent on port side gunnel....what is best test procedures for getting this back into action....I saw a post on here that said on remote tanks the check valve on the pickup sometimes goes bad and needs replaced....where might I find those parts? Thanks in advance...

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,... Ya gotta access the tank to evaluate it's condition,...

Hard to say what it's been through in over 20 years,...

The anti-siphon valve, aka; check-valve is at the outlet fittin', at the hose, which is more likely 3/8"....
