The year before last, I winterized my boat improperly and pooped out a block casting plug! I put a new plug in and fortunately no damage was incurred internaly. That beign said, this year I took winterizing seriously and did everything I was supposed to (drained and refilled fluids, fogged cylinders, even filled the block with anitfreeze, etc.). This winter was exceptionally cold for long periods of time. I went and checked my boat (I have a searay with 4.3 and Alpha 1), and everything in the engince compartment seemed to be good, no pooped plugs, no cracks) I then moved to the outdrive and found my exhaust bellows was destroyed! I just had my bellows replaced last season. The shift and U joint bellows seems to be fine, is it okay just to replace the exhaust bellows and am I going to have to pull the outdrive again to do this?
