Chevy specialists needed

Okay, I got a 1991 Chevy S-10 6cyl automatic 4x4.(I think it is a 2.8liter) <br />I need a new transfer case for it.<br />My buddy has a 1989 Chevy S-10 6cyl 2.8litre 4x4 5-speed standard.<br />I was wondering if the transfer cases are inter-changable? <br /><br />Thanks for any info,<br />B.C.

Try a forum specifically for an S-10, there are several.<br /><br />Ken

Thanks for the replies.<br />I'm just trying to figure out which truck I am going to fix. They are both in rather good shape, but have minor problems. <br />KIZ: Yeah, the S-10 forums are helpful
