I went out to the lake last weekend and found he motorgot harder to start as the day went on. Popped engine cover and noticed that the choke had vibrated off the side of the carb.
So I went hme and took the cver off the choke and removed the spring. Behind the spring there is a plate with a half moon window ( thats about te best way to describe it) ad it is blocking the screw holes. Does that plate come off or rotate to expose the scews or what.

3.0L OMC Rocheter carb 1988

Thx in advance for the help.
