Re: Christian rioters

Brutality in the name of religion is as old as religion itself. More have been conquered and killed in the name of some “god” over time than by any other fashion excluding disease or natural causes. It appears the only defense against this is education and enlightenment, two things lacking in the areas of most conflict. My .02 cents FWIW

I would like to see an effort by Christian leaders to publicly and loudly condemn these actions as contrary to the teachings of Christ. Fact is, I am confident this will happen.

May have happened and I missed it.

And you won't hear any condemn it here in the US because the US really doesn't care about Nigeria. However, if you were IN Nigeria, or Ghana, or any of the other West African Countries you WOULD hear the Christian Leaders condemning the violence.

Seems it me the Vatican issues a statement a few days back calling for tolerance. As for the locals, stay tuned for the Sunday sermons, they are writing themselves in headlines as we speak....er.....a......type.
