I have a 1975 chrysler 105 at first is idled. took it out on the lake then it didn't. ended up having to start it in gear. after 30 minutes of runnung almost full throttle it acted like it ran out of gas but it didn't. couldn't get it running. ended rowing back. I've static timed it, dynamic timed it. know that its out of the water and cool it will start in gear playing with the choke but still will not idle. thank

Most likely the fuel system is gummed up and dirty.<br /> Check the fuel system from tank to carb repair and especially clean as required.

I would only add that you probably should tear the carb(s) down and soak them in solvent or gasoline. Carb kits are available at NAPA. Get a fuel pump kit too.

If it is a Tillotson WB it is napa part number 18-7037 for the carb kit. The two stage fuel pump is a 18=7806.
