Engine gets hot. Have replaced impeller several times, even though it looks ok. Nothing is blocking water flow in lower unit. Am using a lead substitute in the fuel.Any ideas?? mfabin@cox.net
Forget the lead sustitute, but that won't affect engine temp.<br /><br />Was wear plate replaced or just impeller? Grooving will lead to poor pump performance.<br /><br />Has the thermostat been checked?<br /><br />Have you checked ALL water passages are clear? Blow out w/ air or water under pressure.
