I am having problems with what I think is the intermediate shift rod. This outboard will shift fine into reverse but when shifting into foward it just revs up and blows smoke (normal smoke), but doesn't go anywhere. If someone has also had this problem I would greatly appreciate the help. I am also wondering what would be the best place to get these extremely hard to find parts for this motor. Thanks!
