Chrysler 45HP Outboard Motor - How to remove the cowling

I have a Chrysler 45HP Outboard Motor and I can't figure out how to remove the cowling. The guy I bought it from says it was from the early 70's. Any ideas on how to get the cowling off?

I think there is a lever hidden at the front edge of the housing, or maybe in the back. It's been awhile since I've messed with a Chrysler.

Yes, under the steering nose there is a lever. Push it all the way to the other direction and lift the front of the cowl. slide it back a little to free the clip in the rear.
