Chrysler 5HP

I just got a 5 HP Chrysler for my little boys Digny. Its seized, at least in lower unit, which has been run without oil in a barrel by the gut i got it from, 7 yrs ago. Nice little motor by the way. I will try to see if i can save it, though its a Crysler <br /><br />How do I disasemble shift link, to get the lower unit off. It looks like its a bit hard accesible to work on .

if its like i think it is remove the cowls just below the power head and you will find a coupler in the shift rod

GDANE; Remove the four bolts from the L/U and let it drop down about an inch. You will find a screw holding your shift rod together towards the front end. Remove this screw and your L/U will slide down and off.<br /><br />Hope this helps and Happy Boating. Hal
