Chrysler 60 hp year???

Hello Again,<br /><br /> I have the above mentioned engine and am trying to id it down to a specific year. I know it's 74,75 or 76. I have the parts explosions for 76 and 74/75. Where it says the id tag should be screwed on, it isn't. Not even a hole??? There are small differences between the two manuals but nothing definitive. On one the breaker has a push reset button, on another the the plug wires come out at a 90, the other straight. All of this could have been changed . Is there any definitive way to tell the year of this engine? Thanks

I wish I could tell you. But I believe the 76 had a rather distinctive decal set on the hood. I think all would've had the 90* caps when new.
