Hi all
I?m wiring up my Chrysler control box for the first time, as was wondering if you could please tell me if I have everything wired to the correct places, before I hook up the battery and test. I don?t want to short anything or blow anything up?
I have a Chrysler magneto system (45hp - model #455HC)
It?s worth noting that with exception of the ?I terminal? all wires are in the same place they were on the old control box I replaced- and that worked OK. My main question is if I have the correct stuff hooked to that ?I terminal? ? before there was nothing hooked to it, and I want to have it so that the 12v dashboard accessories come on when the key is turned.
Also the tach and the overheat buzzer are new additions- the system didn?t have those before- so hoping I have those wired correctly.
Here?s how it?s wired now:
B Terminal - Red wire (battery)
C Terminal ? Green wire (choke)
S Terminal ? Yellow wire (start)
M Terminal ? Light Blue wire (ignition)
I terminal ? to 12 volt accessories/dashboard (and also to one lead from my overheat buzzer, other buzzer wire goes to my orange overheat sensor wire)
M terminal ? White wire (ignition/tach) (and also one wire from this going to my tach, other tach wire goes to ground)
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance for you help
best, Pat
