Chrysler lower unit lubricant ?

Could anyone tell me if the lower unit on Chrysler 8 HP - '76 or '77 model 83-BD has to be fill with special grease or gear oil ?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Mario

Nothing special. GL-5 80W90 will work fine.<br /><br />
