Where is the S/N number located on a Chrysler 9.2 outboard? How do I determine the year based off that S/N?

Try looking on the transom bracket port side...that's where I've seen some of them later model year ID tags...just a Thought

My serial # plate is under cowl cover,oposite side of tiller handle, riveted to floor.

Forgot to mention- This otor is a 66 or 67-the only two years it was made. Check e-bay books are available from Clymer and Seloc.

Yes, thank you...<br />I found a prop, found a nut cover and have it all installed and working fine now. I am impressed with how clean the motor is. It appears to have very low hours on it. All the "rubber-dogs" that transfer water to the upper unit appear to working fine. 5% or better coming from the exhaust. I'm in good shape for duck season!! Thanks!!
