Chrysler outboard no spark on one cylinder

I have a 1983 Chrysler 35 HP outboard. It ran fine until a couple weeks ago when it started running on only one cylinder. I checked the spark and it is only getting spark on the bottom cylinder (its a 2 cyl engine). I used my DVA adapter for my multi meter and the stator and trigger are providing the correct voltage to the CDI module, but I am only seeing voltage coming from the CDI module to the coil on the cylinder that is functioning properly. The ignition coil on the cylinder that isn't running is showing 0 volts. I then flip flopped the ignition coils to see if I had a bad coil, but that didn't change which cylinder didn't have spark. I assumed this meant that I had a bad CDI module, so I bought a new one from CDI. I just put the new one on and I still don't have spark on the top cylinder.

I don't have a ton of experience with outboard ignitions and at this point I don't really know what else to try. If anyone has any input, I would greatly appreciate it.

Try swapping the trigger wires to the CDI (with the plugs out and grounded) and see i the #2 fires when triggered by the #1

I flipped the wires and I still only have spark on the bottom cylinder. I also had another used trigger that I tried putting on the motor and I only had spark on the bottom cylinder with that trigger as well.

This is the ignition system where you have 4 wires coming to the cdi module from the trigger, and two wires from the stator.

Also, I dont think that the coil labeled "bad" is actually bad. I just labeled it that way so that I could keep track of which was which when I was switching the coils to check if they were the problem.

How about the plugs?
Have you tried to switch them or put a new one in the "bad" cylinder:.
I have had issues with some Yamaha/Mariner from late 1970:es that kill the plugs when running at low RPM.s for a long time.
Never have had it at a Chrysler/Force but worth a try.

I can try swapping them when I get home, but I used the dva adapter to check the voltage and there is no voltage to the top cylinder plug wire. So the spark plug couldn't be the issue, right?

I swapped the plugs and that didnt make any difference. Like I said originally, I am not getting power from the wire that goes from the CDI Module to the coil on the cylinder that isnt firing.

I have not worked with that Magna Power system. Think it is called Magna Power III.
How are the triggers activated from the flywheel?
Are there magnets at the inner rim of the wheel or a laminated steel blade curve?
I will check my OEM service manual how this system works.

Here is what the flywheel and trigger look like. The flywheel inner hub has magnets embedded in it that are not concentric to the flywheel bore. The trigger then has 2 pickups that are 180 degrees from each other.

Okey, I see.
What DVA measured values do you have?
Stator output to the CD module....should be 300VDC or more.
Trigger output to the CD module.... should be 1,4VDC.
CD module output to the coil....should be 175VDC or more.
You working coil what value does it have from CD module to the coil?
