chrysler problems

i have a 125 chrysler motor that won't start and has all new parts. i am not really familiar with this because i just bought the boat off a friend for a real good price that could not be passed up. does anyone have any ideas . it also has a hydraulic pump that is shot and don't have any ideas where to get a replacement again does anyone know. am an avid fisherman and have yet to be on these beautiful waters of n.c. and want to bad thank you for your input

("Does't start" is a bit too broad.)<br /><br />If you are new to boats, get the fellow who sold you the boat to go through the starting and operating procedure with you. Maurice...You have to choke the carbs to start...most common way to choke a o/b is to push the ignition key in while cranking. Be sure you have pumped the fuel line primer bulb till it is firm. Try this in a tank or on muffs, if no start check back with more specifics. Make sure the battery is fully charged...just a Thought

thank you much gentlemen for your replys but the trouble is not in the choke but something other than that
