I'm looking for a plastic starter gear for my 9.9 outboard. I would also like to know what year it was made. Model # 217.586231 Serial # 9c 339103

go to www.3sears.com your assembly # is 590517 and it looks like the gear its self is 590435a. I have another site I have used to order parts for gamefisher but i will have to look it up and get back to you.
