ever notice that some weeks a word or somethin' keeps on poppin' up...<br /><br />for weeks now it's been 'circa' .. what is it..?? what does it mean..?? is it a word or an accronim.. or is it a no meanin' word that's always followed by a date..

Derived from the Latin word "circum" meaning around.Basic meaning would be "approximately".<br /><br />TWO MONTHS AND COUNTING TO BOATING!!!!!!!!

I always understood it as this way, Circa 1920's = from around 1920 or about 1920. No latin for me, just my understanding.
