circuit breaker question

My trolling motor instructions sugest a 50 amp circuit breaker on the positive line from the battery. Which connection on the circuit breaker should go to the the battery? The connection marked Load or the one marked Lead?

Load would go to the trolling motor. Lead would go to the battery.
