Has anyone fished for Ciscoe (also called Whitefish)? A lake near me has them and I hear they are in very deep water. Are they good eating or just fertilizer?
At our lake we use ciscoes as bait to catch lake trout.<br /><br />Know one really fishes for ciscoes. But they do fish for whitefish which can grow to 3-4 lbs.
