Classic 50 cuts out after 1min

Hi everyone,<br />I have a 1986 classic 50 45hp which had a service in the shop 3 months ago but has only been used once since (winter here). I tried to start her up and after much cranking it fired up but died after about 60secs. It finally fired up again (much later) and again died after about 1 minute. I drained out all the old fuel including lines and put in new plugs but still no luck.

clean carbs especialey the high speed jets . <br /><br /> i would pull the plugs after it quit and see if plugs are weat or not . if dry no fuel clean carbs if wet check for spark .

Hi, finally got it sorted out, it was a short between the control box and the engine causing it to cut out without notice.
