classic boat inc.??????

Hi I just bought a boat and I wonder if anyone knows where I can find any information about the builder or info about the boat. There is a tag inside the boat that reads Classic boat inc., model 190, roselle il. The H.I.N. is OSB504850673 and the inboard engine is a Mercruiser inline six, 165 H.P. and mercruiser sterndrive, I think was built in 1973 . I'm not looking for a manual for the engine or sterndrive, but info on the boat such as wiring diagrams, maintance, hull construction and how to repair, info on throttle control make and model, linkage adjustments and what other info that might be available, needs alot of TLC. The neat plus about this boat so far is the radio works and it almost starts. lol!!!

This type of manual doesn't really exist. This forum will be the best reference you could hope for. There are generic wiring diagrams in the electrical section, the resto section is a wealth of hull and construction information, and the I/O guys should know all about your throttle controls and linkages.

I also just bought a 1972 classic 190 that is all original including the 165hp mercrusier. I bought it from the original owner who took very good care of it. Also looking for info on the manufactuer and how many of these boats were made. It seems to be a very well made boat and runs like a top. Here is a pic
