Ok! Maybe I'm dumb but what's the point????? You have a choice as to whether or not to read something here and/or reply. There have been many post that I have either skipped over (because they don't interest me or I know I can offer no advice.) or not posted because they are to infalmatory and there is noting to be gained by adding to it, or its all been said.

Is this a case of a few whiners forceing policy on a quasi-public forum?

And before I get jumped on by the Mods & JB...... You guys do an excellant job of policing the site and yes I admit that I push the envelope at times, (Sorry!) But you just created more work for yourself and made it harder to get information requested because some people do not visit the other forums.IMHO

Re: Clean Chatter, ha,ha!

jgregory - thanks for your thoughts. Just a quick correction: This is NOT a "quasi-public" forum but this is MY forum. You are a guest here. You have no right to expect any rights here. That said I am glad we can provide this social/entertainment service to you within this area. Please, however, do not demand anything from us as you have not earned or paid for the right to do so. Now, buy an outboard from me and my tune may change ;)

This section causes 90%+ of all moderation work. By splitting it up we will be able to reduce the mods load by getting more moderators from within the group of members who only post in this area and who will help moderate this section only.

Re: Clean Chatter, ha,ha!

Oddjob - you quoted the rules of the other section not this one. Please go back and look at the descriptions again and you will see that you got confused again ;)

Everyone feel free to continue posting your jokes and fw, fw, fw, fw'd stories but only in this section. Nothing has changed other than that we will be getting some new mods to keep you all in line.

Re: Clean Chatter, ha,ha!

Edited....Thanks Admin for clearing that up..And yes you will be getting my purchase of an outboard from you....I promise. But, Since the project has not gotten anywhere because of the weather and the only use I have for that motor is as a kicker for my wellcraft the last thing I need is to have a motor lying around. The Admiral would kill me.

Oh Yeah the quasi-public comment was in respect for you. I meant that you own this site and allow the public come in and post their coments..There was NO intended Disrespect toward you Or the MODS.

May the seas be calm
and the wind
Always at your Back!

Re: Clean Chatter, ha,ha!

I understand Admin 5, I cut and pasted from the other forum and I titled it above the quote in the post above. According to the new rules I had to make my point here ,right? Please read again, I are not confused (again) kind sir. :D ;)

I'm on the same page as you JG. I enjoy your posts as well as others. :)

However, I am a little dismayed about the "buy an outboard and I'll change my tune". :(
Again I not worthy...

Re: Clean Chatter, ha,ha!

I wonder if the mods could create an area for just us rednecks and ridgerunners...Most of the things we say makes sense to us but take on a whole different dimension when you english folks get ahold of it..
