Cleaning and sealing the Deck - 10 year old boat

The deck of my 10 year old Fiberglass boat tends to stain easily - particularly fish blood. There is a small amount of aggregate in the places where people walk, and that is stained in some places.

I'm looking for a solution to brighten the appearance as well as seal the deck from future stains. Should I use rubbing compound followed by wax?? Want something that is not slippery.

i would think rubbing compound and wax would end up being slippery, What kind of deck material is it? Have you considered covering current deck with a non-slip vinyl which is easy to clean while maintaining a rough surface?

Its fiberglass with gel-coat. I wanted to avoid something removable like that if i can help it.

You might try some Sno Bowl Toilet cleaner. It works great removing rust stains etc.. Has oxalic acid so wear a mask and gloves.
