Can someone please recommend the best way to clean the outdrive? I just bought the boat and doesn’t look like it was cleaned in a while.

It has a lot of what looks like dried algae.

Thanks

Scott

Put it in the ware for a day, take it out and scrub it right away. Soaking it might loosen up the alge, if that's what it is.

That looks like missing paint to me. If so, you need to sand down, prime and repaint.

looks almost identical to the calcium/lime deposits I get. Toilet bowl cleaner in a spray bottle. Spray it on, let it sit a minute or so, scrub a little with a sponge/brush (with gloves!) and wash off. Don't do it over grass, it also removes your lawn!
