Cleaning pontoons

Looking to clean my pontoons on my boat. Any product recommendations? Currently looking at Aluma-buff and a linear buffer, but are rather exspensive.

I just used this on an old pontoon I'm working on:

Starbrite Aluminum Cleaner / Restorer, 64 oz.

Formulated to clean and restore stained or dull aluminum pontoon boats, jon boats and canoes. Use Ultimate Aluminum Polish as Step 2 when removing stains and restoring older boats. Convenient 64 fl. oz. size with sprayer for easy application.

Wasn't going for polished and perfect 'toons. Just cleaning the gunk off 'em. But I was really impressed with how well this did.

Muratic Acid is what OTR truck wash stations use to make 100 gallon fuel tanks sparkle. Your requirement may require some removal of marine growth before the acid can get to the aluminum if you decide to use that.
