cleaning the carbs.....

i have a 115 84 evinrude. was cleaning my carbs with seafoam everything i was told to do worked . when i sprayed the carbs the motor started to putter and even stall which is normal.my friend has the same motor when he sprayed his carbs nothing would happen the motor would not change how it was running. is there a reason nothing would happen?

When using Sea Foam, you need to "force feed" into the throat of the carb until it starts to falter, let it re-group and do it again. Your friend maybe wasn't giving his motor as much as you were.

he said he had a straw in the carb did the front back and nothing.
