Hi all.
I would like to clean up all the connection on my 85 235hp Johnson.
When I undo the joiner plugs they have old grease in them and I would like to clean out and clean the connections.
Any tricks or tips for this?

Cheers

Re: Cleaning up connections

A solvent will clean the grease out, such as carb cleaner or brake fluid. Be careful, as either may dissolve paint also. The grease prevents air from getting to the pin connections so the prongs/pins don't oxidize and fail to make contact.
