Looking for a CLEAR coat prop sealer to keep my new props somewhat new looking and barnacle free till haul out.
FELTON MARINE has product called NANO EXTRACT. but it very hard to find and purchase, I have used it before with good results,
its a clear coat...No primer....but the props have to pristine before application.i would use another brand clear coat if i could find one....thats why i'm here.

Thanks.....Bill

There used to be a clear antifouling spray paint. It was used on sterndrives. It is probably still available. It worked sorta OK.

:welcome: aboard billyboyb to iboats...

That Nano Extract looks like a silicone based liquid after watching the video about it. And I would think that a spinning prop would wash that off pretty quickly. There are a ton of clear coats finishes and even some catalyzed clear coats as well. But using them on a spinning prop will remove them eventually. It is the nature of the water abrasive action. JMHO!

usually running the prop thru sand takes care of barnacles
