Reassembling gearcase, new oil pump, seal, seal band and now clutch dog. Original was well worn so I replaced it. Manual says Three ramp side must face forward end of gearcase. Both sides of new and old clutch dog have three ramps, the only difference is the new dog has an extra drop about 1/4 long by 1/8 inch deep on 1 side only at the end of each ramp. Would anybody have any extra info. about this part and the proper direction for installation. Could the old part be so well worn that the drop at the end of the ramp is gone? Thanks R.J.
