Ok folks..my engine is doing the bump and I figure it's time to replace the clutch dog and forward gear.
My father is going to be helping me since he is the mechanical guru and I'll get to learn as I go.
Is this something we could accomplish? And what in all will this mean replacing? Just the clutch dog or are there more parts that will need replacement while we're in there. The motor runs great..just does the bump every couple of minutes.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Clutch dog replacement

So, that is the '84 115 you asked about earlier? I suppose you can do it, but it is a job that can be a bit intimidating for the novice. You could also run into some tool needs for certain operations.
