Cmc trim bracket with a 40 hp tiller

Looking at a cmc pt130 trim bracket for my 97 evinrude 40 hp tiller. My motor uses clamp screws for mounting. Will I be able to use a cmc bracket as it seems most motors are just bolted to the cmc using the large bolt holes on the swivel bracket. My motor only has small holes so not confident that using the small holes will be enough. Anyone?

What size bolt will fit in these small holes? Small to some might be bigger to others, so actual size works better.

I have no personal experience with this but I have seen the screw clamps used on the cmc unit as they were intended along with bolts added to the lower holes in the transom bracket.
