Cobra boat??

My buddy is interested in this so I figured I'll help him out and see what Iboats thinks.. Try'n to figure what this thing is. (he's getting the hull ID this weekend).
He said the only description on the boat is a cobra decal that reads cobra boats. I can not find anything like this on the Internet.
Look familiar to anyone??? He thinks in the 24' range... Block is there and the rest is in pieces.

Cobra is an engine / outdrive package made by OMC. Is this by chance where he is seeing this decal, or maybe in the engine compartment.

No he said theres a decal on both sides of the hull.. reads cobra and the top part of the C is a cobra head.. Sorry the pic I posted is bad because the original was too big so I had to take a picture of a picture...

Another guy looked at the pic and thought maybe its a Cobia.. Wondering if Cobia made a cobra and just made the top of the C a cobra head...
