A twin engine , steering link disconnected from port motor, drive rises and lower with out and noise. port drive steering frozen rock solid. Boat was out of water for 3 years, suspecting corrosion or electrolsys in the transom housing.
Any encourging was to repair it, check the manuals and it dosent seem that hard(I know) but ant trick or tip to free it up besides heat and penetrant

The manual mentions shims in the bottom but shuldnt there be a few thou of play there ,up and down like the mercruiser
and if the bottom mount is removed #30 does the pin simply fall out/ pull out/ press out?

I looked in my paper parts catalog, easier to read than on line...it might work that way...I think its just gonna take a bit of time patience heat and a witches brew of penetrating oils...BTW, I bought that stuff you recommended....forget the name...worked great when I had to remove the original brake rotors on my 07 Grand Cherokee....so did the OTC heavy duty puller I bought for the job...best $100 I ever spent!

Yep worked like a charm. Hope the job goes well for you! The original rotors were on there since new...only had to replace due to rust...always put a nice coat of anti seize on the hub to make the next job easier...
