Cobra or King Cobra

looks like i will be replacing the lower shift cable on a boat i have just purchased how do i know if it is a Cobra or a King Cobra so i know which book and cable to purchase? also does any know of any links to the OMC manuals?

Post a picture of the drive and transom shield. That will answer the question faster than anything.
Manuals need to be OEM, you will need a full model number to figure out which set you need.

If you can't post a photo at least the year and engine size would be a clue.

If its an 88 200 Horizon, most likely its a plain Cobra, the only King Cobra that would have been offered in that boat, was a 350 chevy with through the transom exhaust which used the same drive as the other regular Cobras the 460 King was not offered in the 200. So the cable for the regular Cobra would likely be right.
