Hi all, I replaced my OMC cobra engine and now attempting to re-install the 1993 OMC 
cobra 800 outdrive. We got the spline to index with the engine hust fine. Now the outdrive is approximately about an inch from mating to the housing and it will not go any farther. We tried all different ways tryning to gat it to mate flush. Any suggestions
