cobra out drive

I have a 1989 Bayliner with a 351 Windsor and a cobra outdrive. It sticks going in and out of gear. I have to move the throttle back and forth several times before it goes into neutral and its really annoying. Is there a simple adjustment.

NO .......but you can lubricate the cables at the plate on the engine.If this doesnt work,you probably need a new outdrive cable.Not a simple adjustment,sorry.<br />DHP<br /><br />351 ford... didn't know OMC used one.

You could get the Ford 5.0 or the 5.8 in the OMC
