I've got a pulse transformer or coil that occasionally makes a ticking sound, like a spark, inside itself and other times it creates a spark on the spark plug or spark plug tester(pretty big one too).
I measured for continuity and get 250 Ohms (Input is 300V since it's a pulse transformer) from small wires to the distributor wire and 1/2 Ohms from small wire to small wire.
Debating whether it's the pulse transformer or pulse pack is bad.. thinking it's the pulse transformer since it makes a ticking sound when I don't see a spark.
Can anybody confirm this?
