Rumor has it they're made by Parsun of China.
If they were cheap they might be worth a try but from what I've seen their only a few hundred cheaper than buying a Tohatsu or Nissan.
I think they'd have to come down to a few hundred bucks period before I'd even consider one. I would never invest nearly two grand into anything from China.
