Color of Motor

I am looking at a 24 ft deck boat that has the 5.0 Volvo GXi series motor. Is this motor painted red? If not I think the motor may be a rebuild. Any insight would be most appreciated.<br />Thanks

Yep, the newest Volvo's are red again. Here's a picture of a new one.<br /><br />

hello I think they changed back to red in the 2001 series. its been a few years.

Thanks. The picture of the motor in the boat I saw was so clean it did look like it might have been a rebuilt motor. I guess I need to take a trip to see the actual boat. It is a consigned boat thru a broker.

seems like last year when they changed. time does fly when your having fun but it sure makes ya feel old when just the other day means 3-4 years back
