Color Restorer?

Hey y'all
The color has faded on my fiberglass exterior. Its in good shape with the exception of the occasional nick or scratch(which would be covered by water when boat is in water.)
My question is: Would a fiberglass color restorer be the way to go followed by a good wax job? Or maybe just a buffing and wax job?
I wish I could post pics but my boat is in the shop til tomorrow.

Thanks for any help!

gellcoat is a really fantastic stuff....just a buffing and waxing should do it...

pics prefered...start with a very light grit....a 1200 -1400 brfore you take the buffer to it.......

if you wet snd....any sanding marks cannot be taken out....

the gellcoat will be slightly less shiny, but youll hardly notice it

cheers

Like Oops said, wet sand, buff with compound, then wax.

Brought my gel back like new.
