to Do Work of Illegal Immigrants

"....So the state came up with a plan to replace the illegal immigrants with workers from a different kind of home: inmates from colorado's overcrowded prison system.
"It's not a cure for our immigration problem, but it's something that we can turn to and maybe get us through these times until legislation gets these laws in order?." Said Joe Pisciotta, an onion farmer who now has women from a local prison working in his fields....."

I think it's a great idea. The work gets done by Americans and it may help rehabilitate some of the prisoners.

I have no problem with a prisoner doing honest work.

Sounds good to me.....
Send the men to pick the fields & the women to the brothels.....
Ship 'em home when their sentence is done.....;):)
Which brings me to my next topic.....

Thanks guys.

Everybody makes mistakes and this is a good way to help those who make them (ahemm...me) get back on their feet.

Here in VT the State employs the prisoners at DMV. They answer phones, schedule all the DMV tests and process mailed in registrations.... so much for privacy issues.

Great Idea let them work for there food and all the monney cost.:D

The one thing i dont under stand is that a prisoner doesnt have to pay for the money he cost the state.
the cost lots of monney so let them pay so we dont have to pay for them.

But this is a good start.:D
