after watching the weather forcast and looking at the calender I remembered my grandpa used to " If we get by february we can march on thru." you know I never did like him saying that then and looking out the window, Ican't say I like it now.besides, march always brings high winds so that will keep me off the water.COME ON SPRING... I'm ready to get out there and catch me some eyes as soon as the boat ramps open up. Yum, nothin better than a slab of fresh caught walleye and potato wedges.:):D:)

I agree! Bring on the good weather!!! As soon as we get past these freezing temps at night, I'll be on the water. :)

Day light savings ends March 14Th. spring begins the 20Th we are getting so close. :D Al tough all the snow we have had east of the river I boat on may cause it to flood for awhile. Hoping for the end of April.

itsaboattime Nice disclaimer. Do they have day light savings time in Canada?

Ya, but around here, all the hard water fishermen had to drive their pickups out on the lakes to tow their fishhouses off the water. Thats's a good sign...:D

Now that you folks mention it, I'm thinking about the southeastern states, and hoping they don't get hit with bad floods after the north thaws out.None of us needs that.:(

Yep, I think ours have to be off in 2 weeks... That sun finally has some heat back in it. Sure felt good today when I was chipping ice off the driveway. Must have been around 40. No jacket today....... We're over the hump....
