Did have a few days so far over 60F. Nights are again into the freezing zone, daytime temps around 40 to 45.

So tired of being indoors, don't like to watch the TV about the War. Gets too depressing and creating stress on the ole ticker.

Tried to get out to clean the boat, but it is just at the point it is just too cool.

Drove down to my lake yesterday to see how things are. It is still 100% frozen over.

What is depressing is when I travel just 50 miles to the south, the lakes are free of ice, and the temp is 15 to 20 degrees warmer.

I think Outboard Jim falls into that area, Lucky guy! :D

Need a temperture check, whats it like in your area?

SS..........surely shivering

Still a little cool here to SS. If I remeber right, I'm just east of ya' on the river. Those 60 degree days were great! Weather man says it's supposed to warm up again. Right now we are in the low 40's. Guys coming into the shop say the lakes like Piedmont, Clendenning and Tappan are starting to become ice free in areas. Piedmont supposed to be only a foot low right now. I need to get out to. Seems like the more I stay in the more "honey-do's" crop up. LOL! Just make the warm weather that much more better.

Re: Come on warm weather!

Have had a few days of high 60's here and a lot of days in the 50's The lakes around here are mostly free of ice in the last week. Got out on the river last week and now that the ice is gone I will go over to the lake today and wet a line :) Still waiting for those nice 80 degree days that I know are not far off. Water temps are in the 40's so the bite is not here quite yet.

Water temp today is 52 degrees, and project "Crazy Cajun" is not finished yet. Not a good deal. :(

aaaawww, that's too bad. its been feeling like a FL flashback this weekend, with upper 70's. i was thinking of putting suntan oil on... the bad part is all the rain has been coming only on the weekends lately :) the other bad thing for me is i don't have enough junk cleared out of the way to get the boat out. and i had to take down the birdfeeders cause they all left for cooler climates...
