I have an X71 with a fried display. We don't use the boat that often so I'd like to buy a used fish finder to replace it with. There aren't any used X71's on the market right now so I was wondering if anyone could tell me if another Lowrance model used the same connectors so I could avoid replacing the transducer and power supply cables.

:welcome: aboard Asand211. Nice to have you join us here at iboats...

Have you contacted Lowrance for a replacement screen? My older adult son has replaced screens on some of the Lowrance Units before and while I have no idea where he got the replacements, he talked like it was a big deal finding them. :noidea:

So contact them and see. JMHO!

hs-wsds may have been the transom mounted transducer that came with your unit according to the manual. This is going back a ways. I looked at several owners manuals to see if I could give you some models to swap heads with but It was a bust. Here is a link hope you have better luck. http://lowrance.com/en-US/Support/Documents/

Eagle and Lowrance head units used the same connectors, but each of those units used a couple different types. There was a round, black rubber type connector, a gray connector and a thumb-wheel type locking connector. You need to determine which type of transducer plug you have and then make sure the head unit has the same mating receptacle.
