So I have a cdi issue with my 125f6A 86 force 125. Not firing on #3. I recently was able to get my hands on a parts motor that is almost identical except for the timing and ignition. Regardless I got the parts motor for 200 bucks so it's worth it to me. My question is the parts motor is an 1984 125x8a and has some sort of belt driven timing and distributor set up for the ignition. I can't seem to find any info on it as all the diagrams for that model still show cdi and coil packs. Is this some kind of aftermarket installation or maybe a Chrysler thing? And wondering if the distributor and timing belt has better performance than the coil packs? And could I swap it onto my current motor somehow?
