I have sig problem I need help with.
My engine is a 2006 4 stroke Yamaha 150-Sea Hunt 207.
I went to start the engine the other day and nothing at all happened. I jiggled the throttle and set it in neutral and then the engine started. However, the start was "labored". Engine cranked with effort and then started, almost like battery was weak but just enought to get it going.
I then got it up on plane no problem ran about 2 miles at 4800Rpms and it just died. No warning, did not hit anything, the engine just shut down.
I turned the ignition key and nothing happened. However, water pump and other electrical accessories did work. Interestingly battery dial did not work, niether did trim tab on throttle or trim tab on engine.
My son towed me with our other boat and after 10 min. we tried to start it again. It started right up but after running for 200yds it just died again.
Any thoughts anyone?
